Terms of Service
These terms govern use of Syllaboo, a software service operated by Rosterd LLC.
Eligibility and authority
You must be at least 18 and able to enter a binding agreement. You represent that you are the parent, guardian, or authorized adult for any child information you add and that you have authority to provide that information.
The service
Syllaboo helps families plan curricula, schedule and track schoolwork, maintain records, and use optional AI-assisted tools. Syllaboo is an organizational tool, not a school, teacher, accreditor, legal adviser, tax adviser, or guarantee of compliance with homeschool requirements. You remain responsible for instructional decisions, records, and applicable laws.
Your account and content
You are responsible for safeguarding your credentials and activity under your account. You retain ownership of content you submit. You grant Rosterd LLC a limited license to host, process, reproduce, and transmit that content solely to operate, secure, and improve the service and fulfill your requests. You must have the right to upload all submitted materials.
Acceptable use
You may not misuse the service, attempt unauthorized access, disrupt its operation, upload unlawful or malicious material, infringe others’ rights, scrape or reverse engineer protected portions of the service, or use it to harm or exploit a child.
AI features
AI-assisted output may be incomplete, inaccurate, or unsuitable. An adult must review it before relying on it. Do not use Syllaboo as the sole basis for educational, medical, legal, financial, or safety decisions.
Plans and payment
Paid plans renew automatically at the interval and price shown at checkout until canceled. Stripe processes payments. You authorize recurring charges and are responsible for taxes and fees shown at checkout. You may manage or cancel a subscription through Settings → Billing. Plan limits and features may change prospectively with reasonable notice.
Availability and termination
We work to keep Syllaboo available but do not promise uninterrupted or error-free service. We may suspend access to protect users, prevent abuse, comply with law, or address nonpayment. You may stop using Syllaboo at any time. Sections that by nature should survive termination will survive.
Disclaimers and limitation
To the fullest extent permitted by law, Syllaboo is provided “as is” and “as available,” without implied warranties. Rosterd LLC is not liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, exemplary, or punitive damages, or lost data, revenue, or opportunity. Our aggregate liability arising from the service will not exceed the amount you paid us during the 12 months before the claim. Some jurisdictions do not allow certain limitations, so they may not apply to you.
